Join Mac Murfitt — a sober queer artist, musician, and Level 1 Reiki practitioner based in the Denver Metro Area — for a healing day of meditation, self-care, and creative expression.
Trained through Colorado Artists in Recovery, Mac offers trauma-informed expressive art workshops designed to support personal growth and emotional release in a safe and inclusive space.
In this workshop, we’ll create “Give It Up to the Universe” boxes — a symbolic tool for letting go. You’ll write down your worries, frustrations, or anything weighing on your heart, and place them in your box as a way to release what no longer serves you.
We'll begin with a guided meditation to ground ourselves, followed by the creative process of decorating and filling our boxes. During the art-making, Mac will offer gentle individual crown Reiki sessions to support emotional clearing and inner calm.
We’ll close with a supportive share-and-connection circle, offering space for reflection and community.
