You do not need any hockey equipment! DMV Women's Hockey will provide all equipment and teach you how to put it on.

What if I don't know how to skate?

No worries! We will teach you! The majority of women who attend Give Hockey a Try Day have never stepped on the ice before.

What if I have some hockey equipment already?

That's great! Feel free to bring it, and we will outfit you with anything you don't have.

Join DMV Women's Hockey on Sunday, August 24 from 12:10 - 2:00 p.m. for our ninth Give Hockey a Try Day at The Gardens Ice House in Laurel, Maryland for women in the area (ages 18+) interested in learning a new sport.

$10 to participate. No experience is necessary. All equipment for participants will be provided. Hope to see you on the ice!

DMV Women's Hockey welcomes those who are non-binary, transgender, gender fluid, or cisgender women to participate in this event and other programs and events.
