Can you tell me about Shannon's SHARE Foundation?

Founded by Alums, Odiney Brown & Nahdi Mukomana Brown; after Odiney lost her 11 year old daughter Shannon to Leukemia. Shannon passed away when she couldn't find a matching bone marrow donor. Shannon's SHARE educates and recruits potential stem cell donors of color and financially assist patients.

Can you tell me about the HBCU Scholarship Ride?

Founded by Alum, Hassan Abdus-Sabur in 2019, the organization hosts an annual bike ride from Newark, NJ to Howard University in Washington D.C. in efforts of raising money for scholarships to be awarded to graduating high school students in Newark, NJ attending HBCUs.

We're back again at a new location!! Join us for "Give Back Saturday" at Prima DC; a premier lounge space, just blocks from campus. Party with a Purpose :: This is a great opportunity to support two Howard Alum-led non profits while meeting up with friends; old and new. Two of the Dopest Howard DJ's spinning and creating the Vibe - DJ Blinks and DJ John Butler.

Grab some food and a drink or two and party with us after the YARD! And as always, you will have the opportunity to join the Stem Cell registry and become a possible life saver!
