Do I need a physical ticket to get into the event?

Accepted Answer

Registration for this GIS Colorado event is managed using Eventbrite.  No need to produce a physical ticket to attend the event. In the event that you will not be able to attend please cancel your registration in Eventbrite or email admin@giscolorado.org.

Will lunch be provided?

Accepted Answer

Lunch is included in the registration cost for the Thursday training event. Lunch is provided for the Friday networking and professional development event.

Question 3

Will there be a virtual option to join on one or both days?

Accepted Answer

To keep costs down, GIS Colorado events are hosted courtesy of local GIS organizations in the area of the event. Virtual attendance will depend on the technology and connections available. Check www.giscolorado.org for event details.

Question 4

Can my organization host a GIS Colorado event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! GIS Colorado events move around the state and are held on a quarterly basis. Contact questions@gisolorado.org for information on the annual schedule and how to get involved in the planning process!

Question 5

What does my training registration cost cover?

Accepted Answer

Current GIS Colorado members receive a $25 discount upon registration (sign into your GIS Colorado account for the discount code). Training registration costs are cycled back to the organization to support low cost training, keep Friday meetups free, and provide annual scholarships.

Question 6

What if I cannot make it?

Accepted Answer

Please cancel your registration through your personal Eventbrite account or contact admin@giscolorado.org to notify the GIS Colorado board that you will not be able to attend. Some events are space limited and have a wait list so freeing up any available spots is greatly appreciated.

Question 7

I cannot attend training. Will I be refunded for my ticket?

Accepted Answer

100% of the registration costs will be refunded if the cancellation is 7 days before the scheduled event. 0% of the registration costs will be refunded if the cancellation is 0-6 days before the scheduled event. Please contact admin@giscolorado.org if you have additional questions.
