Girls in Aviation Day 2025

The WMU chapter of Women in Aviation International is holding our fifth annual Girls in Aviation Day. Join us for a fun filled day flying plane simulators, touring real planes, and learning about the aviation industry! Registration fee includes a t-shirt, lunch, and a GIAD merchandise bag. Parents wishing to attend with students do not need to purchase a ticket, please limit to one parent per student for food planning purposes. Minors MUST be accompanied by a guardian.

The event will be held at Western Michigan University’s College of Aviation in Battle Creek Michigan. Check-in starts at 9:30 am, the event will run from 10:00 am until 2:15 pm. If you have any questions please contact our chapter leaders at waiwmu@gmail.com.
