Holiday Volunteer Celebration 2017

Topic: Getting Things Done: Best Practices in Lean Section Management

ABSTRACT: A celebration of 2017 accomplishments and a look at the road ahead. From the planning and executing of dinner meetings, Programs, education, newsletter, placement to the administration work of treasurer, website maintenance, volunteer recruitment, monthly meetings etc. - our volunteers provide their time for the sole purpose of promoting quality to both our members and the surrounding Princeton community.

KeyNote Speaker BIO: Richard Herczeg - With over 10 years of experience as a successful volunteer, employee, presenter, instructor and member at various professional organizations, Richard brings a unique and objective perspective on what successful sections all have in common. Based on a blend of best practices, quality principles in action and personnel hard won insights, this presentation, focused on Vision, Alignment and Execution, will provide a simple Lean road map that all sections can follow to improve their member value or to reach beyond to even greater vistas.

Richard was an 8-year volunteer for ASQ Section 307, serving as Chair (Twice), Treasurer, Program Chair, Education Chair and VOC Chair. Richard was also a Project Manager at IEEE HQ for 5 years leading in the design, development and delivery of 20 Metro Area Workshops and as PM on other Section/HQ Projects. A lifelong learner, Richard holds multiple degrees and process improvement certifications that include Villanova Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Villanova Six Sigma Black Belt, Johnson & Johnson Six Sigma Design Black Belt, Johnson & Johnson Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP), Richard is currently pursuing Certification as a Business Analyst Professional from IIBA. Richard earned a B.S. in Economics from the College of NJ, an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Georgian Court College and a 2nd MBA in Quantitative Methods from Northcentral University.
