Getting Started with AI for Small Business is a 3-hour class designed for small business owners, nonprofit professionals, and creatives who want to work smarter, not harder. In this session, you'll receive an accessible overview of the latest AI applications and strategies that can be implemented at little to no cost. Learn practical ways to integrate AI into your daily operations—automating tasks, enhancing marketing efforts, and generating content to boost productivity. Every session comes with a Toolkit of templates, guides, and resources to support your journey. This class is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate Program. The instructor is Julie Niehoff, Co-Founder & CMO of Distance Learning Media.

Participants will also get a free toolkit – a collection of templates, forms, worksheets, software and other helpful resources to help make good use of the information shared in class.

This class is availabe live, in-person at the city's Small Business Training Room for networking and interaction with the instructor and others in the class. You also have the option to participate virtually, via Zoom.

This workshop is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate program. Participants who complete six eligible courses in the program are recognized in a public awards ceremony with other local business and community leaders.
