Getting Started in RAS Systems

Greg Fischer is Assistant Director and Research Program Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Northern Aquaculture Demonstration Facility.

Participants will be introduced to the essential components of RAS systems and different types available, design considerations for your budget (DIY, kit, or custom design), and basic husbandry considerations for fingerling grow out of percids in RAS systems.

Experts from all over Wisconsin will be sharing their tried and true methods of fish farming. Whether you are a serious farmer who wants to start your own aquaculture business, or a hobbyist who just plain likes fish, you will have the opportunity to listen, learn and ask questions.

All Webinars will be held on Zoom. Registration is required. A Zoom invitation will be sent to all registered participations 24 hours prior to the designated day and time of the webinar.
