Getting and Finding Federal SBIR/STTR Grants
Overview
Looking to fund your startup without giving up equity?
Join us this December for a two-part webinar series focused on federal SBIR/STTR funding opportunities — designed for early-stage founders, particularly in healthtech, wearables, sensor and AI technologies.
Our first webinar focuses on finding the right grant opportunities. We’ll walk you through:
- How to find the right federal agency fit for your technology
- Typical project sizes, timelines, and phases (I, II, IIB)
- The full SBIR/STTR application lifecycle
- Strategies to strengthen your competitiveness
- Practical steps to help first-time applicants succeed
This session includes a live Q&A.
Presenter: Christine Howard, E.B. Howard Consulting: Since 2013, Christine has led E.B. Howard, which helps innovators unlock the power of non-dilutive funding to drive growth, validate impact and reduce investment risk. Her firm has crafted hundreds of grant proposals and their clients have collectively secured more than $450M in non-dilutive funding. She’s also proud to serve as a mentor and advisor in national programs like the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program.
This is the first of two webinars about federal SBIR/STTR. The webinars will cover different topics and are intended to complement each other grants. However, there is no requirement that you attend both webinars.
