Get to Know an Inner Critic: An IFS & SoulCollage® Card Making Experience

By Carla Alpert
Online event

Overview

Get to know an Inner Critic from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective, making a SoulCollage® card, and journaling. (18+)

Are you curious to learn more about, and befriend your Inner Critic?

This workshop will explore the types of Inner Critics and their intentions through Internal Family Systems and by making a SoulCollage ® card.

Both SoulCollage® and IFS work beautifully together for self-exploration as they each affirm the multiple parts of our personalities. Both support getting to know your inner world by bringing awareness and understanding to your parts and their purpose through creativity, inquiry and curiosity.

The focus of this workshop will be getting to know an Inner Critic through journaling and card making. We'll explore the Inner Critics and their intentions from an IFS perspective.

Fostering the relationship to our Inner Critics helps to create more internal harmony and self-compassion. When you understand the intentions of your critics and create a relationship with them, you find more space for compassion and freedom from them.

Come with a playful spirit and an open heart. Be ready to have fun and connect deeply with your Self, your critics, and your group. Gain insights into this time in your life and tell your own individual story by working with collage and journaling.

NOTE: The workshop will be recorded for participants who can't attend live.

IMPORTANT: If you are unfamiliar with IFS and or SoulCollage® this content will not be covered in the workshop. If you plan to attend please enjoy this introductory webinar on both Internal Family Systems and SoulCollage® prior to this event where you'll also learn a bit more about me too: https://healingwithcollage.com/ifs-and-soulcollage-introduction-video

More About SoulCollage® and Internal Family Systems:

SoulCollage® is a creative and intuitive process to get to know the many parts of yourself through pictures. The practice fosters self-discovery, and provides personal guidance as it allows you to access your inner wisdom. Founded by Seena B. Frost, this method is accessible to anyone who can cut and glue images onto cards and then engage with the images as they “speak” to you, the creator.

Internal Family Systems (IFS), was founded by Richard Schwartz, Ph.D. when he realized through his work that it's normal for all people to have multiple parts of themselves, each with their own personality, emotions and reactions. The goal of IFS if to get to know the parts inside of you so they can be more harmonious with each other and your Self.
