Get Ready for 2026: Host an Aquaculture Pioneer or Apprentice

Calling all aquaculture shellfish and seaweed farms!

Whether you’ve hosted a Pioneer or Apprentice before or are learning about these programs for the first time, we invite you to join us for a virtual information session on November 17 at 1 pm.

We’ll share updates and information for farms interested in hosting participants from the 2026 cohorts of the Aquaculture Pioneers Pre-Apprenticeship and Maine Aquaculture Apprenticeship programs. You’ll hear directly from GMRI, MAA, and Educate Maine, and have the opportunity for direct Q&A with employers who have experience with each program.
