This October, Denton proudly holds the title of Halloween Capital of Texas—and what better way to celebrate than with a film that forever changed horror?

Presented by the Denton Black Film Festival, this FREE community screening of Jordan Peele’s Get Out invites you to experience a modern masterpiece that blends edge-of-your-seat suspense with razor-sharp social commentary and comedy. More than a horror film, it’s a cultural phenomenon that will leave you talking long after the credits roll.

Join friends, neighbors, and fellow film lovers on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 4 PM (doors open at 3:30 PM) for a community experience filled with chills and big-screen energy. Seating is first-come, first-served.

🎃 Tickets are free, but donations are appreciated to help us keep these screenings free for the community. Celebrate spooky season in Denton—the Halloween Capital of Texas—with one unforgettable film event.
