Payment information is needed in order to complete online registration. You must sign up for buses in advance as there is no on-site registration for buses. Traveling with us by bus? We start at 5:30 a.m. Meeting us in NYC? Doors open at 10 a.m. Panel starts at 11 a.m.

For Bus tickets "Reserved Seat + Event Registration": Include each Passenger's Name, School/Group Name, and Contact Information (e.g., First Name, School/Chapter Name,, 888-888-8888)


Friday, April 7th. Arrive at 5:30AM. Buses will leave promptly at 6:00AM.

DEPART: Alewife MBTA Station, Cambridge, MA.

Cambridge BUS #1 – DIRECT TO NYC


  • TOLLAND, CT: Park and Ride lot Exit 68 off of Route 84 at 7:30 a.m.
  • NORTH HAVEN, CT: Park and Ride lot Route 40 @ Devine Street (Exit 1) West Lot

NYC Destination: The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, 7 East 7th Street, New York, NY 10003

NYC Departure Location and Time: 5:00PM @ 1st Avenue between E 35th and E37th Streets

This is too early in the morning to use public transportation, but if you carpool in the morning, you can take the T or bus home from Alewife station. We expect to return to Alewife by 11:00 pm.

Get on the Bus for Human Rights (GOTB) is an annual day of human rights education and activism organized by Amnesty International USA Group 133 of Somerville, MA and a dedicated team of volunteer community organizers. Now in its 21st year, GOTB draws upwards of 1,200 participants riding buses, commuter trains, and carpooling down to New York City to take peaceful action in front of embassies, consulates and corporate headquarters in NYC in support of human rights.
