Program Background

About the Masterclass Program: The Model Housing and Neighborhoods Masterclass has been an international forum for sharing knowledge and experiences about housing models for sustainable, human-scale neighborhoods. The immersive program has included a study trip to Copenhagen and towns in Denmark to explore housing types and housing policies with pre- and post-trip activities locally in the Pacific Northwest.

The Masterclass program is generously funded by the ScanDesign Foundation. COurban, a design collaborative based in Copenhagen and the Pacific Northwest, led the program together with Seattle based partners Framework Cultural Placemaking and Futurewise.
