Get ready to experience past, present, and future visions as more than 100 participants come together to showcase an eclectic mix of exhibits, presentations, and workshops, including live music, DJs, “Next Step Beyond” fashion show, food trucks, and local vendors. This diverse mix of SHTEAM-focused projects—blending Science, History, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—promises an immersive experience for attendees of all ages.

The Georgetown Steam Plant was built in 1906, long before building codes reflected accommodations for folks with mobility challenges. A temporary ramp provides access into the building for anyone using a wheelchair or who might otherwise have trouble getting over the building’s threshold.
