Adventure awaits in GeoExplorers: Dig, Discover & Move, a hands-on, nature-based event designed specifically for children ages 7–12! Kids will step into the shoes of a real-life geologist—exploring, discovering, and creating through fun, movement-filled challenges. From hunting for hidden treasures to making a wish at the Lucky Pond, this unique experience combines outdoor play, creativity, and teamwork. Whether your child loves science, art, or simply being active in nature, they’ll have a blast while building essential skills.

Each session is led by a licensed physical or occupational therapist, ensuring that every activity supports motor development, coordination, and confidence in an engaging and developmentally appropriate way.

Caregivers are warmly welcomed to join in the activities alongside their children or may choose to drop off and pick up after the session.

Multiple sessions are available to suit your schedule—join one, a couple or all!

RELEASE FORM REQUIRED: Before attending, a completed release form is required for both you and the child participating. After checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to the required waivers and policies. Please be sure to complete a form for each participant prior to your visit.

What is The Bridge Center?

The Bridge Center is an inclusive, fully accessible 22-acre campus with fields, a pond, horses, a splash pad, and more. Our recreation, therapy and equestrian programs support social, emotional, and physical growth through group or one-on-one activities tailored to individual needs.

What should my child wear?

Children should wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing that allows for active movement

What should we bring?

No additional materials are needed—just bring your child ready to move and have fun!

Where should we park?

Upon entering The Bridge Center campus, drive straight ahead and park on either side of the red sheds to your left. These areas are marked with orange and yellow parking lot signs.

Where do we meet?

Continue down the road to the second building on your left, The Rudofsky Center, marked by a large welcome sign. If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle in consideration of the other sessions that are running. A staff member will meet you in the lobby at your scheduled time.

Can we stay on campus before or after the program, or visit other areas?

For safety and privacy reasons, TBC is not open to the public outside of scheduled program time. Participants are kindly asked to arrive and depart according to their program schedule and to remain only in designated areas during that time.

Who runs the group?

Each session is led by a licensed physical or occupational therapist. This ensures that all activities are guided by professionals with experience in child development and therapeutic play.

Do caregivers need to stay during the session?

Caregivers have the option to stay and participate in the activities alongside their child or to drop off and return at the end of the session. Whatever feels most comfortable for you and your child is perfectly fine—we aim to provide a flexible and supportive experience for all families.
