Overview

Genomics Compute Cluster (GCC) Orientations onboard new users to the GCC and inform them of the best practices for using this resource.

This is the registration page for sessions in-person on the Chicago Campus; if you would prefer to attend virtually, or are looking for additional dates, please see the virtual GCC Orientation registration page.

The Genomics Compute Cluster (GCC) is a part of Northwestern University's high-performance computing (HPC) cluster, Quest. These orientation sessions provide an overview of the GCC resources available and focus on best practices for submitting jobs and managing data with those resources. Orientation sessions also include some review of Quest command line utilities.

These orientations will not be recorded, but if you would like to use the GCC and cannot attend any of the scheduled sessions, please reach out to haley.carter@northwestern.edu.
