ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Participants will learn how to effectively lead and engage the four distinct generations in today's workforce: Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. The course will explore the unique characteristics, values, and communication styles of each generation, providing strategies to bridge generational gaps and foster a collaborative and engaging environment. Attendees will gain insights into leveraging the strengths of each generation to drive engagement, enhance teamwork, and achieve organizational goals. By the end of the class, participants will be equipped with practical tools and techniques to create a positive impact through generational synergy and effective leadership.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Lois Bauccio, CFRE

A longtime resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, Lois Bauccio has lived a life dedicated to community service and civic engagement.

She has had a respected career in non-profit management for more than thirty years and is best known for her successful tenure as Executive Director of the Child & Family Center Foundation.  In addition to her professional work for several community charities, she has also been deeply committed to voluntary community service.   On behalf of women, children, arts, culture, and the underserved, she has been a leading member of the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita for over three decades, and she has served on the boards of numerous community non-profit organizations including the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce, the Valley Industry Association, the SCV Arts Council, the Food Pantry, and the Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, among numerous others.  She was co-founder of the SCV Nonprofit Leaders Network and the SCV League of Women Voters.  She was named Fundraising Professional of 2000 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP, San Fernando Valley Chapter), SCV Zontian of the Year in 2004, Santa Clarita’s Top 51 Most Influential seven times, San Fernando Valley’s Top 100 Most Influential for 2016, and Single Mothers Outreach’s Empowering HeArts “Iconic” award in 2012.  She was named Santa Clarita’s Woman of the Year in 2016.

She holds a BA degree from Cal State Northridge, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Public Relations from UCLA, and she earned the CFRE status (Certified Fund Raising Executive) in 1996.  Currently, Lois is Principal and Consulting Director of LMB Development Services, a comprehensive consulting firm providing development support to local charities. Currently, her primary client is the Santa Clarita Historical Society which is developing the Santa Clarita History Center as a museum site which tells the stories of our valley and its people throughout time.

Jenny Ketchepaw

Jenny currently serves as the Vice President of Talent Engagement for Citizens Business Bank where she manages the Leadership Development, Training, and Culture initiatives for the Bank. This includes managing an extensive Leadership Development Training Program, Corporate Culture and Values, Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, and Well-Being. She has been working in the financial industry for 26 years, serving in various leadership capacities. Jenny is a certified Gallup Strengths Trainer, Coach, and Engagement Champion.

Jenny is a past recipient of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award as well as the Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award. She is a two time honoree as one of the Signal Newspapers 51 Most Influential. She is a two time National Masters Speak Up Winner and was one of ten young people recognized as an Outstanding Young Californian. She was recognized as Santa Clarita Woman of the year in 2023. She is a certified national trainer with Junior Chamber International and has trained extensively on leadership development. She is also a certified trainer for Predictive Index. 

Jenny has established herself as a leader in her community as well serving on a variety of non–profit Boards.  She is the past State Chair of the California and Nevada Youth Involvement Board, the Past President of the Santa Clarita Valley Jaycees, where they were named  #1 Chapter in the Nation.  Jenny was the first female chapter president in CA to lead her chapter to this distinction. She is a Past President of Single Mothers Outreach, Past President and current Treasurer of Business Connections, Past President of the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund, and Past President for the Child and Family Center Foundation. Jenny currently serves as President of the Boys and Girls Club, board member for Circle of Hope, and as a board member for the College of the Canyons Foundation. She also previously served on the City of Santa Clarita’s Human Relations Roundtable. Jenny is the current President of the JCI Santa Clarita Foundation. Jenny is a co-founder and current member of WeWil and Lean In, two organizations that focus on empowering women. Jenny is a current member of Zonta.

Jenny leads with positivity and believes in being proactive, forging lasting relationships, and making an impact where you serve. Jenny loves to travel and spend time with her husband of 22 years and their kids, 14 year old son Connor and 8 year old daughter Lily.
