Description
Improve Wikipedia entries related to gender equality with the National Archives and Records Administration. This event is part of Amending America at the National Archives in celebration of the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights.
This event is co-sponsored with Wikimedia NYC. More information can be found on the Wikipedia event page.
The event will be held in the 3rd floor Learning Center. Please enter through the 1st floor entrance (under the National Archives banner). Once on the 3rd floor, follow the signs to the Learning Center.
The schedule will be as follows (subject to change):
10:00-10:15: Welcome and Introductions
10:15-10:45: How to Edit Wikipedia
10:45-11:15: Behind the scenes viewing of original documents and discussion of Susan B. Anthony Trial by Sara Davis and Angela Tudico, NARA-NYC archives staff members
11:30-2:00pm: Editing

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
You MUST have a valid photo ID to enter the National Archives.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There are several subway and bus options of getting to the 1 Bowling Green:
4 & 5 trains to Bowling Green
1 train to Rector Street
R train to Whitehall Street
J & Z trains to Broad Street
2 & 3 trains to Wall Street

M5, M15, and M20
