G.E.M.S.® (Girls Empowered, Motivated, and Strong) Created by Dr. Erica Tatum-Sheade, LCSW, G.E.M.S. is an empowering group experience designed to help girls embrace their authentic selves while building essential life skills in a supportive and fun environment.
Through the G.E.M.S. Model of Empowerment, participants explore the 4 C’s:🔹 Clarity – Discover who you are and why it matters. Girls gain insight into their values and what truly matters to them.🔹 Connection – Learn how to form healthy relationships with yourself and others while understanding your place in the world and the power of collaboration.🔹 Consistency – Understand the importance of showing up as your true self every day, in every space.🔹 Courage – Build the confidence to take bold steps, speak your truth, and create change in your life and community.
Grounded in evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral principles, Adlerian (Individual) Psychology, shame resilience, and character building—with plenty of fun built in—G.E.M.S. equips girls with the tools to grow in self-awareness and self-love.
