He’ll walk through the origins of MPE, his contributions to the specification, and several of the expressive instruments he has helped design. Geert will also discuss the key challenges, insights, and future directions shaping the next generation of digitally expressive performance.Geert Bevin is a programmer, designer, musician, and leading contributor to modern expressive electronic instruments. Director of Software Development at Moog Music and principal software engineer and co-designer of the LinnStrument, he is a key figure in developing the MPE specification.
