Who is a “beginner” Excel user?

A beginner has little to no experience using Excel. They may be able to open and view an Excel file, but do not feel confident creating their own spreadsheets.

Question 2

Who is an “intermediate” Excel user?

Accepted Answer

An intermediate user can open a spreadsheet and enter basic data. They may or may not have experience formatting cells. They rarely or never use formulas.

Question 3

Who is an “advanced” Excel user?

Accepted Answer

An advanced user can create and format spreadsheets. They have some experience using formulas. They may or may not have experience with pivot tables and charts.

Question 4

What technology do I need to participate?

Accepted Answer

A computer (laptop or desktop) with Excel. We recommend Excel 2013 or newer. 
Sessions will be delivered via Zoom. Please ensure you have downloaded the Zoom app or have access to the desktop version.

Question 5

Do I need to attend all of the workshops?

Accepted Answer

No. These are designed to be stand alone events. You can join whichever courses you feel would be most beneficial based on your current Excel knowledge.

Question 6

Why are there two sessions in one day? Do I attend both?

Accepted Answer

We offer two time slots for each session to meet the needs of clients across the United States. The same content is offered during both sessions in a day. Pick the time that works best for your schedule.

Question 7

Will the session(s) be recorded?

Accepted Answer

No. The workshops are built to be interactive. We want attendees to feel comfortable asking any questions they have to build their knowledge and confidence, so the sessions will not be recorded or shared.
