An Intergenerational Event for Families and People of All Ages

On the afternoon of Saturday, December 3, we’ll meet up at Celebration Tree Farm and Wellness Center for some fun. Gather with friends to collect greens for Advent wreaths and home holiday decorations. Then, after the greens have been gathered, we'll learn how to make Advent wreaths. Christmas Trees and other decorations will be available for sale.

What We'll Do

Please arrive by 2:45pm. We will begin walking toward the trees promptly at 3pm. During this event we will walk approximately 1/4 of a mile from the barn to the Christmas trees. Once there we will learn how to select the best boughs to clip for wreaths and decorations. Once we have gathered our greens, we will head toward the barn and those who wish to stay can learn how to make an Advent wreath.

What to Bring

A pair of clippers/garden shears
A bag to put your greens into

What to Wear

Good walking shoes
Warm clothing

Where to Go

The farm is about 35 minutes from Portland. It is located at 125 Bowie Hill Rd. in Durham, Main

Carpooling is encouraged.
