Event description

Description

"The answers you seek never come when the mind is busy, they come when the mind is still." - Unknown

During this event, Restorative Yoga is paired with acupuncture to provide a space to restore and release. This calming yoga practice offers a gentle approach to releasing stress and tension - physical tension from how we move about our lives, emotional tension from how we hold our stories, and energetic tension. You will be guided through a series of long-held Restorative postures supported with bolsters, blankets, and all things comfy. Sinking into breath and body, you’ll find peace and an overall sense of relaxation. You will be guided into a deep relaxation offering a meditative experience while you consciously rest in stillness.

Enter the Gates Of Buddha, where one is free to release attachment and experience life as a smooth and steady flow. This acupuncture treatment utilizes points on the Large Intestine channel and the Liver channel. These channels help facilitate letting go of what no longer serves us on the body/mind/spirit levels, as well as smooths the flow of emotions, thoughts, and blood circulation. The Gates of Buddha acupuncture treatment is a calming, releasing, and detoxifying on all levels of being.

There are two time slots available for this event on October 20, 12-3 PM or 5-8 PM.

This 3 hour experience includes:

  • Intro to Acupuncture

  • 90 min Restorative Yoga

  • 30 min Savasana with Acupuncture

  • Guided Meditation

  • Experiential Harvest/Question & answer period
