Garment Sewing: Make Your Own Piece
Overview
Put your sewing skills into practice by completing a wearable garment in one session. You’ll cut, pin, construct, and finish your project with instructor guidance while learning tricks to bring garments to life from a pattern. Choose between two beginner-friendly patterns:
- Palazzo pants - loose, wide-legged pants suitable for beginner and experienced sewists.
- Side tie top – a trendy top sewing pattern that is easy to construct and is perfect for beginners or experienced sewists.
Prerequisite: Sewing 2 or equivalent — comfort with a sewing machine, pattern use, and construction basics. Details of what to bring to class will be provided after you sign up.
