By UF/IFAS Extension Jackson County

Overview

This is the first session in a 3-part series focused on growing and cooking food from your own garden.

This is the first session in a 3-part series: Starting Early, The Southern Way, and Summer Herbs.

Have you ever thought about growing your own fruits and vegetables for cooking? Maybe you're not sure where to start? In this workshop, we will cover steps to take now to have a flourishing spring vegetable garden. We'll also cover best practices for starting from seeds and discuss ways to preserve your harvest as well as saving seeds for the future.

Participants will be preparing fresh salsa with vegetables they can grow during the spring and take home a seed starter kit.

**Register for all 3 workshops at once and receive a $10 discount on the total.

***Refunds allowed up to 24 hours prior to event. No partial refund will be provided on bundle tickets after the first session is completed.
