Garden Grove - Free Native Milkweed Giveaway at the Woman's Civic Club

SAMO Fund, the official partner nonprofit of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, is hosting a free narrowleaf milkweed giveaway at the Woman's Civic Club!

We will be giving away free milkweed at the Saticoy Library on August 7th from 5PM-8PM at 9501 Chapman Ave Unit-G, Garden Grove, CA 92841. Every registered participant will receive a 4 pack of Narrwoleaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis). We can only guarantee plants to those who have registered.

Narrowleaf milkweed is a gorgeous native plant that serves as a host for monarch butterflies to lay their eggs. Monarch caterpillars feed exclusively on milkweed leaves. Help us increase the monarch butterfly population by picking up and caring for your own milkweed plants 😊
