GAMEREI Open House: Premiere "Why game events are awesome"

GAMEREI Open House premieres on November 12!

Starting in November, we will be regularly opening the doors of DIE GAMEREI for you! Our new event series, GAMEREI Open House, will be the go-to spot for connecting, discussing, and networking within the Bavarian gaming community. ✨

Event details at a glance

• 🗓️ When: November 12, 2025, doors open at 7:00 PM (program starts at 7:30 PM)
• 📍Where: DIE GAMEREI, Hohenlindener Straße 4, 81677 München
• 🎉 The premiere of GAMEREI Open House is also an official side event of GodotFest 2025. Accordingly, as part of GAMEREI Open House, you will have the opportunity to showcase your Godot projects and connect with others to discuss them (see below).
• ℹ️ The program will be held in English.

To kick off our new event series, we are focusing on the topic:
“Why Game Events Are Awesome!”
We have prepared an exciting program for you:

• 🎤 Tim Ahlert – Mentor in the Games/Bavaria Accelerator Level Up and recently promoted to Head of Marketing at publisher Headup – will give an exciting talk sharing his diverse experiences with digital game events.
• 💡You will also have the chance to showcase your own Godot projects in short slots and experience firsthand some of the major benefits of game events, like visibility and direct feedback. Whether it's a game jam project, a demo, or a finished game: if you would like to present your project on our stage and showcase what's possible with the engine, simply select the corresponding option when securing your ticket – we will get in touch with you.

Ab November öffnen wir regelmäßig die Türen der GAMEREI für Euch! Unsere neue Eventreihe 'GAMEREI Open House' wird der Treffpunkt zum Austauschen, Diskutieren und Netzwerken für die bayerische Games-Community. ✨

• 🎉 Die Premiere von GAMEREI Open House ist auch ein offizielles Side-Event des GodotFest 2025. Entsprechend habt Ihr dieses Mal im Rahmen von GAMEREI Open House die Möglichkeit, Eure Godot-Projekte zu präsentieren, um Euch anschließend darüber auszutauschen (s.u.).
• ℹ️ Das Programm findet auf Englisch statt.

Passend zum Start unserer neuen Eventreihe widmen wir uns dem Thema:
„Why Game Events Are Awesome!“
Dafür haben wir ein vielfältiges Programm für Euch vorbereitet:

• 🎤 Tim Ahlert – Mentor im Games/Bavaria-Accelerator Level Up und frisch befördert zum Head of Marketing beim Publisher Headup – gibt in seinem Talk spannende Einblicke in seine vielfältigen Erfahrungen rund um digitale Game-Events.
• 💡Außerdem habt Ihr die Möglichkeit, Eure eigenen Godot-Projekte in kurzen Slots zu präsentieren und damit einige der großen Vorteile von Game-Events wie Sichtbarkeit und direktes Feedback direkt zu erleben. Egal ob Game-Jam-Projekt, Demo oder fertiges Spiel: Wenn ihr Euer Projekt auf unserer Bühne präsentieren und zeigen möchtet, was mit der Engine alles möglich ist, gebt dies einfach beim Ticketkauf bei der entsprechenden Frage an – wir melden uns dann bei Euch.
