Ready to ditch the health to-do list and dive into a world of engaging challenges? This interactive workshop isn't just about talking about gamification – you'll actually design your own personalized health games!

We'll start by uncovering the core elements that make games so captivating and explore how these can be strategically applied to your unique health goals, whether it's moving more, eating better, stressing less, or staying consistent with healthy habits. Through collaborative exercises and creative brainstorming, you'll learn to translate your aspirations into fun, achievable quests, complete with points, rewards, and maybe even a few playful power-ups.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and experiment with different game mechanics, from setting meaningful challenges and tracking progress in engaging ways to incorporating social support and celebrating your victories (big or small!). You'll leave this workshop with a tangible toolkit of ideas and a concrete plan to transform your health journey from a tedious task into an exciting game you'll actually want to play.

What You'll Do:

Explore the Gamification Toolkit: Discover the key game elements (points, badges, leaderboards, challenges, narratives) and how they drive motivation.
Identify Your Health Quests: Define your specific health goals and break them down into manageable, game-like objectives.
Design Your Game Mechanics: Brainstorm creative ways to track progress, earn rewards, and overcome obstacles in your personal health game.
Prototype Your Health Game: Develop a tangible plan for implementing gamified strategies into your daily routine.
Share and Get Feedback: Connect with other participants to exchange ideas and receive constructive input on your game designs.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone eager to take a more active and enjoyable approach to their health, individuals seeking practical strategies for behavior change, health and wellness professionals looking for innovative engagement techniques, and anyone who believes that a little bit of play can go a long way in achieving their well-being goals.

What to Bring:

An open mind, a willingness to get creative, and perhaps a specific health goal you'd like to gamify!
