Each after-school session focuses on hands-on projects meant to engage busy hands and expand curious minds. Programming spans from woodshop to welding to computer aided art and design to videography and animation.

Learn how to quickly turn concepts into prototypes and road test for success in this 8 week introduction to iterative design thinking. No experience necessary, students will construct with cardboard and recyclable materials in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.
Learning Outcomes:
- Design thinking
- Understanding simple machines
- Creating Automata
- Concept Development : Translating sketches into 3D objects
- Safe use of scalpels, box cutters, glue
- 2D / Surface design skills

Accessibility notes
- Students may be exposed to a dusty space with loud machinery.
- This workshop is held in a computer lab, which is only accessible by one flight of stairs.
