Description
Meteorologist gone tech, Workshop: Build your own weather sensor and bring it home
In Bergen, we care a lot about the weather. Yes, it rains a lot. But how will the climate changes affect the temperatures in your local environment? Scientists and meteorologists are now using the power of crowds to answer that question.
Join Future Week's weather track and see how yr.no and the University of Bergen can utilize data from *your* very own garden to help answer these questions. During our interactive workshop, you will even be able to build and take home your very own weather sensor – for free!
How do I get there?
Media City Bergen has two entrances - Lars Hilles gate 30 and Odd Frantzens plass 5.
When entering From Lars Hilles Gate 30, go down the stairs on your right when entering MCB. Veer right and walk towards and through the restaurant area until you reach Tower 3. Event staff will guide you to the Media Lab.
If you're entering From Odd Frantzens Plass, turn left after entering MCB and walk towards and through the restaurant area until you reach Tower 3. Tower 3 will be on your left, where event staff will guide you to the Media Lab.
This event is part of the Future Week in Media City Bergen. Future Week consists of a number of research seminars, workshops, breakfast meetings, popup-talks, entertainment, demos, presentations, debates, talks and discussions.
