About this event
As so many organizations work to transform downtown's parks, we have an incredible opportunity to realize the community’s vision of creating truly welcoming public spaces downtown. Hear from one of the nation's leading urban thinkers and planners, NYC Parks Commissioner Mitchell Silver, on how we can ensure we are making these places more equitable and inclusive for our whole community.
In his 30+ years of experience, Commissioner Silver has been at the center of many cutting edge trends, innovative solutions and visionary plans in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, and Raleigh. As NYC Parks Commissioner, he oversees management, planning and operations of nearly 30,000 acres of parkland. We are honored to have such a celebrated and accomplished speaker for this year's event!
Registration and networking will begin at 11:30 am. The presentation will begin at noon.
Join us to learn how we can make our parks places for everyone to enjoy!
All ticket sales benefit the Downtown Austin Alliance Foundation, a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit whose purpose is to implement key projects that support the Downtown Alliance’s vision.
Sponsorship opportunities are available! Please contact Mandi Thomas at if you are interested in purchasing a table and sponsoring the event.
