Who can attend the boot camp?

Students ages 14–17 who are curious about business, entrepreneurship, or launching ideas — no experience needed! Ages 18-25 also welcome.

Just a notebook, a pen, and a curious mind! Laptops/tablets are optional. All materials will be provided.

Yes! We provide lunch and snacks both days. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions in advance.

Both! Students will brainstorm in teams and also have time to develop their own unique business idea.

A completed one-page business plan, a pitch presentation, a basic business model canvas, certificates of achievement, and tons of inspiration!

We’re located in the heart of Culver City, just 20 minutes from the UCLA campus and less than 1 minute from a UCLA bus stop — super easy to reach!

What are the days of the Bootcamp? Can I attend just one day?

May 3rd and May 4th. It is a two day event where both days have to be attended, as the learning will be incomplete with just one day. 10 AM to 5 PM on both days. Lunch from 12:30-1:30 PM.

Will this boot camp help with college applications?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Participating in the Teen Startup Boot Camp demonstrates initiative, creativity, leadership, and real-world problem-solving — all traits colleges love to see. Students leave with a completed business plan, pitch experience, and entrepreneurial skills that can be featured in personal statements.
