Chris Weir once won the prestigious title of Funniest Person in Cincinnati — which is a lot like being the best sushi chef in Nebraska. But hey, funny is funny, and now you can hear him on Sirius XM, where he’s legally required to be funny while you’re stuck in traffic.
He’s performed at comedy festivals like Limestone and Flyover Fest — which are real events and not just euphemisms for "performed in a barn in the Midwest." He’s also the cohost of The New Nasty Boys, a Cincinnati Reds-themed podcast. Yes, a baseball podcast. About the Reds. So clearly, he knows pain.
And this October, he’s recording a comedy album at Commonwealth Sanctuary, because nothing says “laugh riot” like a place with the word sanctuary in it. Come for the jokes, stay because you're emotionally trapped.
Jessi Sisson is an Appalachian comedian known for her sharp wit, distinctive storytelling, and unapologetic humor rooted in her West Virginia upbringing. Now based in Columbus, Ohio, Jessi brings a unique voice to the stage, blending personal anecdotes with cultural commentary.
Lindsay Jane is a Cincinnati-based comedian who brings clever wit and incisive social commentary with her jokes on gender, dating, and parenting. You can find her featuring for local and national acts at Commonwealth Sanctuary in Dayton, Kentucky.
Nick Taylor is a comedian based out of Ohio and has performed in clubs all over the country. He is a regular at the Bricky’s Comedy Club(Dayton), The Grisly Pear Comedy Club(NYC) and The Comedy Shop(NYC). Nick has been featured on Amazon TV, and has opened up for the likes of Mike Vecchione, Godfrey, Chris Porter and Bert Kreischer. Nick’s joke writing, riffing and unique perspective has made him a rising comedian in the country.
