About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours 30 minutes

Rope play offers a unique space to explore connection, communication, and energetic exchange between people.

Dive into the sensual art of Shibari/Kinbaku in this beginner-friendly class focused on presence, creativity, and deepened connection.

Using the simplicity of ichinawa—ties with just one rope—we'll explore how rope becomes a language of touch, trust, and intimacy. Tying can be platonic, sensual, sxxual, or anywhere in between. Rope can embody a wide range of tones and intentions.

You'll learn foundational techniques to create authentic, expressive, and connective ties while tuning into the dynamic between you and your partner.

Participants should come partnered, as this class involves paired practice.

What to bring:

  • rope (we have limited rope available for borrowing)
  • a yoga mat & pillows
  • water bottle, snacks, lunch or money for lunch break!
  • a notebook

See you soon!
