Fundamentals of Corporate Giving: 8-week CFRE certified course

Over eight weeks, learn all of the ways companies give back to the community using nonprofit organizations as the conduit.

Classes will be held virtually with an interactive element that will allow participants to engage with the facilitator and learn from their fellow classmates. Expect to commit, in total, 24 hours which includes class time, between-class assignments and 1:1 sessions with the instructor.

Classes will be via Zoom from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM PT [3 PM - 5 PM ET] on Wednesdays starting January 7th, 2026

To maximize learning, class size will be limited to 10 students, with each student entitled to two one-on-one sessions with the instructor to address specific issues.

• Sponsorships, Underwriting, Licensing
• Cause Marketing
• Employee Volunteerism & Board Service
• Workplace Giving with Employer Matching
• Prospecting: finding leads, sources for finding the decision makers' contact information, tips on making the first contact, best practices for building relationships
• Cultivating prospects to gain the commitment
• Stewarding prospects to build long-term relationships

CFRE points:

This course earns you 12 CFRE points and a Certificate of Completion.
