About this Event

Join us for this free convening on March 3 where we will review fundamentals of Change Management (2.5 hours).

Deepen your understanding of change management and its value. This experiential learning program delivers the fundamental concepts of change management and establishes how effective change management can benefit your organization. The program applies five tenets of change management to a specific project or change initiative to build awareness and desire for change management—the first two milestones in the Prosci ADKAR Model.

Molly Herrington, Director of Leadership and Learning

Molly Herrington serves at the Director of Leadership and Learning where she is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that help engage and grow North Dakota leaders within state government through training and learning opportunities. At the State of North Dakota, we are driven by our purpose of empowering people, improving lives, and inspiring success. Through our values of gratitude, humility, curiosity and courage, our talented workforce is committed to providing exceptional services for the citizens of North Dakota. As the Director of Leadership and Learning, Molly leads and delivers leadership and learning initiatives to equip our workforce with 21st century leadership skills. She directs the development of a leadership development learning strategy that creates a learning and growth mindset culture. In this role, Molly partners with agency leaders, the Governor’s Office, and team members in Human Resource Management Services (HRMS) to drive leadership and learning strategies during a time of unparalleled innovation and advancement.

Tricia Bartell, Learning and Development Trainer

Tricia Bartell has played a key role in creating and facilitating professional development courses for the State of ND for over 10 years, and in private industry for 10 years prior. She specializes in in-person and virtual instructor led courses, as well as the development engaging on-demand experiences to grow team members of all levels of experience. In addition to traditional training and development, Tricia also serves as the expert for the State’s Enterprise Learning Management system. Tricia graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Speech Communication Degree and a minor in Mass Communications.
