Join us for our Full Moon Gathering at Surya Sound Temple, featuring a captivating musical journey led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Akshay S. Tiwari, accompanied by clarinetist Ivan Morozov. This special performance will explore regional styles of saz music, weaving together folk traditions from Pontic Greek, Armenia, and beyond.

Following the concert, we invite all guests to stay for a casual jam session—an open space for spontaneous music-making, connection, and celebration under the energy of the full moon.

Akshay S. Tiwari is a NYC-based composer, educator, and saz performer. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Akshay’s work bridges global musical traditions with themes of spirituality, memory, and cultural dialogue. He is a student of Sufi musician Amir Alan Vahab.

Ivan Morozov is a classical clarinetist at the Manhattan School of Music with a background in mathematics and scientific research. His artistry blends precision and passion, making him a dynamic voice in contemporary and traditional performance.
