Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime evening at the Rickenbacker Woods Foundation, the boyhood home of Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker — aviation pioneer, Medal of Honor recipient, and legendary leader of Eastern Airlines.
This October marks what would have been Eddie’s 135th birthday, and we are honoring his legacy with a historic community fundraiser that also supports the restoration of the beloved Spaghetti Warehouse trolley.
The evening will include:
✨ A rare behind-the-scenes preview of the 132-year-old Eddie Rickenbacker Boyhood Home, now a National Historic Landmark.
✨ An exclusive first look at the new interpretive park, the future site of the restored trolley.
✨ Stories of Granville T. Woods, the “Black Father of Electricity,” and the Tuskegee Airmen, connecting Columbus’ history to America’s innovation.
✨ Light refreshments, community fellowship, and opportunities to make history together.
This celebration is more than honoring the past — it’s about inspiring the future. Funds raised will support the Granville T. Woods Institute and youth STEM programs that carry forward Capt. Eddie’s legacy of courage, innovation, and service.
