From Scrolling to Steering: Empowering Families in the Digital Age

Join us for an engaging two-part workshop designed for both parents and children (age recommendation: 4th grade - 8th grade)! This workshop will help families understand the forces behind “screen pull.” Then, we’ll break into parallel sessions: parents will join a guided conversation on raising kids in a tech-filled world, while children head to a hands-on AI hackathon.

• Learn how the attention economy, persuasive design, and algorithms shape our digital habits.
• Children explore the world of AI through a hands-on mini hackathon.
• Parents gain strategies and resources for raising kids in a tech-filled world.

Light refreshments will be provided for all learners.
