About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join DinoBuddies and Gorman Heritage Farm for an engaging, hands-on educational adventure that uncovers the fascinating connections between dinosaurs and their modern relatives—chickens! This dynamic program explores the natural history of both animals through a close look at their body structures and the functions they serve.

Participants will compare fossil evidence with real-life chicken anatomy to investigate how features like feathers, claws, beaks, bones, and posture have evolved over millions of years. Through interactive demonstrations and up-close encounters with live chickens and life-like dinos, learners of all ages will gain a deeper understanding of adaptation, survival, and the surprising link between the prehistoric past and the farmyard present.
