From Ruin to Resilience: Grief, Focus, and the Future We Choose

By Dolly Klock, MD

Overview

Join neighbors and friends for a panel discussion and community-building, marking the one year anniversary of the Palisades Fire.

Almost a year ago, the Palisades fire tore through our community, leaving homes, memories, and lives in ashes. Out of this devastation has come grief, resilience, hope, and a call to gather.

Please join Dr. Dolly Klock, family medicine physician and founder of ADOLESSONS as she welcomes Dr. Zelana Montminy, behavioral scientist and author of Finding Focus and 21 Days to Resilience, and Michelle Villemaire, designer, storyteller, TV host, and creator of UNBURNABLE: Women of the Palisades Fires . These three women will come together not as speakers on a stage, but as neighbors whose lives were forever changed.

This will be an evening of community, raw conversation, and collective healing, a space to honor loss, to remember what fire and grief cannot take, and to learn how love and focus can carry us forward. You will leave not only moved, but changed, carrying with you a renewed sense of what it means to belong, to rebuild, and to endure together.

Proudly hosted in Pacific Palisades at Calvary.
