Friday, Nov 7 | Harvest Park | Keynote: Noble Sissle Jr.
Join us at McClellan’s at Monarch Café for a special evening celebrating five years of SIREN’s impactful work — from grassroots protest to real policy change.
Our keynote guest, Noble Sissle Jr., will share the powerful story of his father’s time training in Spartanburg during World War I — and how a racially charged incident here sent ripples across the world.
Why come?
Because movements don’t last without people. Join local changemakers, neighbors, and friends to honor how far we’ve come — and imagine what’s next for racial equity in Spartanburg.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of something bigger — a movement for justice, equity, and community.
The Spartanburg Initiative for Racial Equity Now (SIREN) is a collective of parents, artists, journalists, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, activists, and scholars. Founded in June 2020, SIREN works to create a more equitable future through policy research, advocacy, journalism, and direct action.
