Overview

A mega workshop covering compliance guideline, core accessibility skills, document remediation, and course evaluation tools.

This three-hour, fast-paced session distills the most essential elements of the From Obligation to Opportunity learning series into a hands-on, practice-oriented experience. Participants will begin with a clear understanding of the DOJ accessibility ruling and its implications for course design. They will then explore the seven core skills of accessibility, learn how to create and remediate accessible documents and media, and apply Panorama and other evaluation tools to assess and enhance accessibility within Canvas courses. Through guided demonstrations and real-world examples, attendees will leave with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to improve course accessibility immediately and sustainably.
