As the Accessibility Champions Program moves beyond compliance and technical skills, this session focuses on designing courses with all learners in mind. Faculty will explore the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how they align with accessibility to address the broad spectrum of learner variability. The session will highlight flexible design strategies that increase engagement, representation, and expression, ensuring that course materials and activities work for students with diverse needs and preferences. Through examples, reflection, and planning activities, participants will gain practical ideas to intentionally design inclusive learning experiences that support equity, choice, and access for every student.
