In this session, participants will learn how to make documents and media accessible to all learners, moving beyond Canvas into the resources and materials commonly shared in courses. Faculty will explore practical strategies for designing accessible Word documents, converting and checking PDFs, and ensuring PowerPoint presentations are structured for assistive technology. The session will also highlight best practices for providing captions and transcripts to make video and audio content inclusive. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and quick-access tools, participants will leave with actionable skills to apply immediately to their course materials, aligning with both WCAG standards and institutional accessibility requirements.
