Panel Discussion

In this panel, we will explore how donors can help shift power from institutional gatekeepers in philanthropy to grassroots leaders themselves, letting them set the agenda–not just receive funding. Panelists will discuss their experiences using models such as participatory grantmaking, giving circles and hyper-local organizing, all the while exploring the diverse and inspiring ways communities around the midwest are demonstrating generosity.
