From File to Print - Why Paper Makes the Difference

You’ve taken a picture, made adjustments and shared it electronically with family and friends. Now it’s time to make a print, but you aren’t sure which paper to use. We will talk about which characteristics to consider when choosing a paper to print your image. Selecting the appropriate paper is probably the first and most important decision. Paper choice can bring your creative vision to life.

Veronica Cotter with Hahnemühle USA, will begin the discussion with an overview of Hahnemühle Digital Fine Art papers. She will focus on the features that influence personal paper choice and how texture, base tint, weight and print size affect the outcome. Veronica will be joined by Dennis Keeley, an artist, teacher, writer and photographer.

Participants are encouraged to submit a file they want reviewed for paper recommendations. We will review and offer a few options.

• File submission size: Horizontal orientation - 3600px on long edge. Vertical orientation - 2400px on the long edge. Resolution: 72ppi
• Submit only one file to classes@kcamera.com
• Submission deadline is 11/7/2020
