Intent-Based Leadership produces a climate of psychological safety that encourages initiative, innovation, collaboration, risk taking and creativity. Team members are engaged and motivated in the organization. The session will consist of a series of video based discussions, with small and large group work framed around the 6 Principles of Intent-Based Leadership.
Using examples and small group discussion, Jeff will introduce the principles of intent-based leadership and how to use them in your organization to create a culture that produces proactive people and excellent results.

Speaker’s Bio:

Jeff is a Leadership Ambassador for Turn the Ship Around! Before joining the Turn the Ship Around team, Jeff was a Lean/Agile Coach and Trainer at Adobe. With a background spanning astronomy, project management, and coaching, Jeff has worked on process improvement at Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Compaq, and Cisco.
Jeff has certifications in Counseling, Project Management, and Nonprofit Organization Management, and is trained as a Co-Active Coach. He has a BS in Astronomy as well as an MBA from Penn State University. He lives in San Jose, California with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, singing with a jazz band, and volunteering.
