About the Talk:
Join us for a candid conversation with Sarah Bard, a former Washington insider turned Israeli tech executive. She breaks down what it really takes to switch lanes and build a career in Israel. Moderated by journalist and community leader Shanna Fuld, this talk will explore Sarah’s journey from the halls of the White House to the startup scene, and how she learned to reinvent herself in a new country and a new industry.
Sarah will share practical tools for identifying your strengths, marketing yourself, and finding your “product-market fit” in an evolving job landscape. She’ll dive into the realities of workplace culture, internal politics, self-advocacy, and why climbing the corporate ladder in Israel looks different than it does abroad. Expect a smart, honest, and highly useful discussion for anyone navigating career growth, personal branding, or professional transition in Israel.
